Clojure/Conj 2025: Annual Clojure Conference announces open registration, sponsorship opportunities and new hybrid offerings

Event to be hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA on November 12-14, 2025

São Paulo, September 2, 2025 Nubank, one of the largest financial services platforms in the world and users of the Clojure programming language, will be the sponsor host for Clojure/Conj 2025, the premier annual conference for the Clojure open-source community. The event will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 12-14, 2025, and will offer a hybrid program model aimed at attracting hundreds of attendees worldwide. Registration is now open at https://2025.clojure-conj.org/.

Clojure/Conj has long been a prestigious event for Clojure developers. As one of the largest Clojure-based companies in the world, Nubank will be the sponsor host for this year’s event, which will feature a full day of in-person workshops, followed by two days of technical talks, as well as an expanded online experience designed for a global audience.

“Clojure/Conj 2025 is a crucial part of our effort to foster a healthy Clojure ecosystem and we’re excited to bring new opportunities for connection and collaboration to developers and sponsors worldwide,” says Justin Gehtland, GM, Nubank. “This year, attendees will have more time to dive deep, learn, and connect. The opening day of workshops – exclusive to in-person participants – sets the stage for the main sessions, which will feature both experienced developers and new voices covering current trends, tools, and real-world applications,” said Gehtland.

Clojure/Conj 2025 is also actively seeking sponsors. The hybrid format offers unique opportunities for companies, including virtual booths in the livestream, allowing international sponsors who cannot attend in person a unique chance to connect with a fast-growing functional programming community and walk away with tangible applications.

“Clojure remains a community that is about ideas, and its strength comes from creative people who can pursue their vision without getting caught up in complexity. The community thrives when we share our enthusiasm and plant new seeds, and this conference is a perfect place to do that,” said Rich Hickey, creator of the Clojure programming language.
