Nubank launches “With Nu, it’s a whole new story” campaign, inspired by successful films and series

Created by Wieden+Kennedy SP, the action reinforces the brand's positioning as a protagonist in transforming the customers' financial experience

São Paulo, October 13, 2025 – Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, launches its new campaign today with the theme “Com o Nu é outra história” (With Nu, it’s a whole new story). Inspired by the language of classic films and series, the action highlights how Nubank delivers real-world advantages, with solutions and benefits that transform customers’ stories.

Developed by Wieden+Kennedy SP, the campaign shows Nu transforming the customer experience with a true plot twist, dramatizing the before and after with visual and narrative codes widely used in the entertainment world. Products such as NuCel, Caixinhas Turbo (Turbo Boxes) with returns of up to 120% of the CDI (Interbank Deposit Certificate), and the credit card are highlighted.

The pieces recreate scenes inspired by cinema, with the genre’s own aesthetics, lighting, and language, as if they were a journey through a film reel. The narrative transforms when Nu’s products enter the scene, connecting to the brand’s purpose of simplifying financial life.

“For many Brazilians, financial life is a journey that can have ups and downs. With this campaign, we show that Nubank is a partner that simplifies our customers’ routines, regardless of the scenario. We use the language of cinema to illustrate this partnership, reinforcing how Nubank offers the necessary solutions for customers to overcome any difficulty,” says Juliana Roschel, Nubank CMO.

“The campaign shows that, often, the challenges of financial life are very much like the cinema. These are situations worthy of a good drama, comedy, horror, or adventure. But whenever Nubank’s solutions enter the scene, the story is another, and the ending is always happy,” comments Romero Cavalcanti, Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy SP.

The campaign will unfold into 10 films, to be broadcast on social media, open TV, and out-of-home media.
