São Paulo, August 25th, 2022 – What to do if you fall into a digital financial scam? What to do if you make a transfer to a fraudster or have your cell phone stolen? What if you get a fake call and transferred money?
To help and guide customers in these moments of tension and anxiety, Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, launches SOS Nu, a safety hub with information, tips and procedures that explain to customers how to act in adverse situations and compromise of personal data.
To get to know SOS Nu and learn how the tool works, access the hub at https://blog.nubank.com.br/sos-nu/.
With options for dozens of situations, SOS Nu arrives to provide even more support to clients on issues affecting the entire financial services sector – and promote prevention and agility in the search for practical solutions in adverse cases.
The platform details each step if something happens and how to secure information and access it, regardless of cell phone provider or model.
“We want our customers to be able to protect themselves and have easy access to what they need to know in this difficult time. Often these cases are reflections of social engineering, and criminals are always finding new ways to find their victims. At Nubank, our customers are the priority, and that is why we are always working to help them be increasingly safe, not only with our products and services but also with informative and educational content”, says Cristina Junqueira, co- founder and CEO of Nubank in Brazil.
I fell in a scam. And now?
In the hub, customers will access content on fraud involving loss of password, fake boleto, card cloning, and scam via Pix or WhatsApp, among others. The content is simple, transparent and direct to impact people with different profiles and needs, with quick and complete answers to any security issues.
When faced with a situation like this, there are always specific recommendations for each case. Contacting Nubank to notify the problem and file a report are priority actions.
“SOS Nu comes to be a public utility tool necessary to combat the public security problem that we have in Brazil. We will constantly update this content so that millions of people, and not just our customers, have access to a single center about the theme and can thus avoid being victims of criminal actions”, adds Cristina Junqueira.
