São Paulo, December 9, 2025 – Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, today announces the launch of its new Subscription Manager tool, centralizing all of Nubank clients’ recurring charges—such as streaming services, gyms, and apps across different categories—in a single place.
Internal Nubank data collected from October 2024 to October 2025 shows that approximately 21 million clients have an active subscription, with an average monthly spend of R$ 101 per person and an average ticket of R$ 38 per transaction. Streaming services, telecommunications, wellness and gym memberships, health plans, distance learning, and gaming lead the ranking of different categories.
In the same period, clients spent approximately R$ 24 billion on recurring subscriptions using credit card, debit card, and Pix, which are the most used payment methods. More than 627 million transactions were recorded in the last 12 months.
With increasingly higher expenses from different sources, clients can now view all active and recurring payments and subscriptions on their credit card within the Nu app, along with the amount of each, recent payment history, and the forecast for upcoming charges. Additionally, they can see the card registered for each subscription, whether it is virtual, additional, or physical, should the client need to block, swap, or reuse it.
This means the tool operates as an exclusive spreadsheet, providing a clear and intuitive view of financial commitments, aiding in planning and preventing surprises on the invoice, along with additional personalization features like the option to hide subscriptions, edit frequency, and submit feedback for greater expense accuracy.
“We noticed that many clients, even the most organized ones, have a ‘blind spot’ in their finances: subscriptions. These are expenses that accumulate silently and add up overtime. The Subscription Manager was created to bring transparency to this space. By transforming a complex flow of charges into a simple, controllable list are bringing the clarity that was missing. Now, our clients no longer need spreadsheets or third-party apps to manage this spend; total control is integrated into the Nubank experience which they already know and trust,” says Emilia Lopes, General Director of Nubank.
The feature is being gradually released to the Nubank customer base in Brazil. To check it out, simply access the “Minhas Assinaturas” (My Subscriptions) area in the credit card section of the app.
