Nubank offers up to 50% cashback and announces Gift Cards in Consumer Week

São Paulo, March 15, 2023 – In celebration of Consumer Week, Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, announces a series of exclusive offers in the app, in addition to the launch of gift cards in its marketplace. The platform brings together major brands and retailers in Brazil, contemplating the date with the best discounts for those who shop in the company’s app. Up to 50% cashback will be offered on purchases made on the platform through partnerships with Magalu, Casas Bahia, Shopee and AliExpress. 

To make the experience even more complete and to offer even more advantages, Nubank responds to customer requests and launches a new gift card model within the Marketplace. Marketplace consumers will have access to discounts on the purchase of Gift Cards from brands such as iFood, Uber, Google PlayStore, Nintendo and Spotify – the new service conveniently allows purchasing credits to use as a form of payment on different platforms and digital content. The customer can also buy and send the code as a gift to another person. The new functionality results from a partnership with Blackhawk Network Brazil, the country’s leading gift card distribution company.

After Black Friday, Consumer Week is one of the most important retail dates of the year. The initiative is part of Nubank’s marketplace consolidation strategy, which grew 150% between 2021 and 2022. Today, Nu contemplates 124 carefully selected e-commerce partners in its marketplace; among those with more sales records are Magalu, Casas Bahia, Netshoes and Shopee. Nubank’s more than 70 million customers in Brazil can shop easily and securely in specific product categories (fashion, games, travel, pet, among others) with discounts, coupons, and cashback.
