Nubank Ultravioleta launches “LATAM Pass Mode”: the ideal way to climb Elite Categories and travel with different benefits

São Paulo, March 10, 2026 – Nubank Ultravioleta and LATAM Pass Brazil announce the launch of LATAM Pass Mode (Modo LATAM Pass). It enables automatic conversion of card spending into LATAM Pass miles and accelerates qualifying points, which count towards category evolution. This matches daily transactions to travelling, bringing practicality to Nubank Ultravioleta card customers.

One of the highlights of the new Modo LATAM Pass is the boost of Qualifying Points: customers can add up to 60,000 points per year, with 1 qualifying point for every 4 miles accumulated, facilitating access to benefits such as cabin upgrades, priority boarding, and free baggage handling. Customers will also receive a 10% bonus on the total miles accumulated during the period in which they use the new mode.

Modo LATAM Pass’ activation is just one tap, in the Nubank app, with practicality and without the need to exchange or issue new cards, additional monthly fees, or bureaucracy. With the new mode, the customer will have a dedicated interface to track points history and view their LATAM Pass benefits and loyalty program status in a single place. The features will be made available gradually starting in March.

Modo Latam Pass in Practice

Once activated, accumulated points are automatically converted into miles according to the current benefits of the card:

• 2.2 LATAM Pass Miles per dollar spent on the credit card.
• Bonus: While active, the customer receives an additional 10% bonus on the total miles accumulated in the period. The bonus is not considered for Qualifying Points.
• Qualifying Points: 1 Qualifying Point for every 4 miles generated, with a limit of 60,000 per year, accelerating evolution in the program’s Elite Categories.
• Exemption: The use of Modo LATAM Pass does not generate extra fees. The criteria for exemption from the R$ 89 monthly fee remain: spending of R$ 8.000 per month or R$ 50.000 invested.
