Nu achieves more than 40 external recognitions throughout 2024
The list of awards reflects the company's commitment to innovation and to offering high-impact solutions in all markets in which it operates

São Paulo, December 10, 2024 – Nu reaches the end of 2024 with more than 40 global awards and recognitions for the company and its leaders, in more than 70 categories, reinforcing its leadership position in innovation, customer experience and impact.
Throughout the year, Nubank consolidated its successful trajectory, standing out in the markets in which it operates and reaffirming its role as a global reference.
This year, the company also achieved 100 million customers in Brazil, which represents 57% of the country’s adult population. Globally, the base exceeds 110 million, an average growth of 1.7 million new customers per month in the third quarter of the year.
A legacy of impact
Among the main recognitions of 2024 globally, Nubank was once again on Fast Company’s list of the Most Innovative Companies in the World, ranking 1st in Latin America. It was listed by Forbes as one of the Best Banks in the World, with Nu Mexico leading for the third consecutive year in the country. In TIME’s lists, Nubank is among the most influential companies in 2024, being the only Latin American in the ‘Titans’ category, and was considered the Best Brand in Brazil in two categories.
Nubank leaders were also highlighted: David Vélez is among the 500 most influential people in Latam and got Forbes Colombia’s 2024 Excellence Award, while Cris Junqueira was listed by the Financial Times among the 25 Most Influential Women of the year. Livia Chanes was recognized as one of the 10 best CEOs in Brazil by Forbes, Iván Canales is one of Mexico’s most innovative business leaders, and Marcela Torres was recognized as one of the 100 most powerful women in Colombia.
