São Paulo, July 10, 2024 – Nubank, the world’s largest digital banking platform outside Asia, has been honored as one of the “World’s Top FinTech Companies 2024” in the Neobank category. The ranking was compiled in collaboration with Statista. Nubank was also recognized at the annual ranking by The Banker among the Best Banks in Latin America and the Caribbean.
These awards, which recognize financial technology companies that significantly impact areas such as payments, neobanks, digital assets, and more, reinforces Nubank’s reputation as a global leader in financial innovation.
CNBC and Statista’s analysis
The CNBC ranking is a rigorous evaluation based on key performance indicators (KPIs) including user count, transaction volumes, and revenue. These metrics are meticulously compiled from various sources: an extensive survey of public data, annual reports, corporate websites, and continuous media monitoring of over 2,000 companies. International Recognition in The Banker’s Ranking
In addition to CNBC, Nubank was featured in The Banker’s “Top 1000 World Banks” list. This publication, by the Financial Times Group, ranks the world’s leading banks. Nubank’s was featured among the Best Banks in Latin America and the Caribbean, achieving 9th place among banks in Brazil, and securing a spot in the global Top 1000. In addition, Nubank was recognized as the second bank on the “Highest Movers” list in the Top 1000 ranking too, with a 161.5% increase in Tier 1 capital.
