Nubank reveals Brazilians’ favorite destinations for parties and vacations

São Paulo, December 4, 2025 – With the year-end holidays and January vacation approaching, Nu Viagens, the exclusive platform for purchasing flights and hotel reservations for Nubank Ultravioleta, analyzed its customers’ behavior to reveal the most sought-after destinations for the period. The data shows a preference for travel within Brazil, but also indicates interest in cities in South America and Europe.

For Christmas, the most popular domestic destinations are:

The trend continues for New Year’s, with few changes. The cities of São Paulo, Recife, Porto Alegre, Salvador, and Rio de Janeiro occupy the top positions in the ranking. Internationally, the most sought-after cities show that South American and European destinations remain popular for New Year’s:

January: School Holidays in Focus

Considering the school holidays, Nu Viagens also identified that the first week of January is the busiest. The most searched domestic destinations are very similar to those for the year-end, with São Paulo, Salvador, and Recife at the top of the list. For international travel in January, Santiago (Chile) and Lisbon (Portugal) continue to be the most sought-after, with Madrid (Spain) and the American cities of Orlando and Miami also emerging as favorites.

The platform’s analysis also revealed an interesting fact about the profile of the trips: the majority of airfare purchases are for a single passenger. However, there is a slight increase in reservations for multiple passengers during the New Year period.
