Nubank organizes app into transactions, planning, and shopping
The new version of the application aims to make it easier for customers to organize different moments in their financial lives and personalize their experience by adding a profile photo

São Paulo, August 4th, 2022 – Nubank, one of the largest financial services platforms in the world, starts to make available today the new version of its application to its entire customer base. Everyone who uses the app will be able to organize their financial life in a more personalized way in three areas: transactions, planning, and shopping.
This is an update to further simplify the customer experience, which is Nubank’s priority. From now on, the app offers the three guides (tabs) with these purposes to facilitate the use of the account and improve the product portfolio.
In addition, in order to make the app even more customizable and interactive, users can now also upload a profile photo. They will be able to choose an image to illustrate their avatar.
The changes were developed based on user surveys conducted over the past year. With more than 57 million customers in Brazil, Nubank offers a wide variety of services, such as a digital account, credit card, investments, buying and selling cryptocurrencies, insurance, personal loans, and the marketplace.
“We’re always getting feedback from our customers. Amidst the increase in products and features, we have the challenge of keeping the experience simple, intuitive, and organized,” explains Hugh Strange, leader of the experience area in the Nubank app. With this concept in mind, we came up with this new version, in which we mapped the customer’s mental and behavioral model to achieve an increasingly personalized app.
The home screen is the transactional tab, which brings together the functionalities linked to the digital account, credit card, and loans, for more immediate day-to-day actions that need to be taken the moment the client accesses the application. The planning tab includes Investments, Crypto, and Insurance, actions aimed at building and taking care of financial resources. The third one, shopping, adds the services and products of Nubank’s Shopping Mall, so customers can take advantage of discounts and benefits.
