Nubank sponsors ‘Jornal Nacional’ with campaign to showcase product portfolio

Wieden+Kennedy SP campaign presents the company's range of financial services; sponsorship runs until January 2024

São Paulo, June 1, 2023 – Nubank, one of the largest digital financial services platforms in the world, announces a new marketing campaign, created by the agency Wieden + Kennedy SP, to promote its complete product portfolio – beyond credit card and digital account. With the concept “N Possibilities”, the films present the plurality of the company’s services and will be launched this Thursday (1) in the opening of ‘Jornal Nacional’ on TV Globo. The sponsorship is unprecedented for the news show.

“We have reached 10 years, and the brand is at an important moment of maturation: we have expanded our portfolio, evolved the way we serve, and are expanding the segments in which we operate. In this new campaign, we will bring the story of how our consumers access various possibilities in life through our products and services. In a light-hearted way, we will invite the consumer to get to know everything we offer beyond the purple card”, says Juliana Roschel, Nubank’s Marketing Director.

As part of the sponsorship, the company will have insertions before the beginning of ‘Jornal Nacional’, right after the traditional line-up of presenters with the main news of the day. Until January 2024, it will include 10-second vignettes, 30-second films during commercial breaks, and brand insertions in the financial market indicators during the break.

“We chose Jornal Nacional because, besides having a massive impact, it generates consistency in the message. It is a traditional news show with a lot of credibility. Nubank is all about dynamism, so we seek new formats, more integrated with the content”, says Gui Cavalcante, head of media, data, and connections at Wieden + Kennedy SP. In addition to the sponsorship, several initiatives will begin in June, with a digital plan and special brand actions.
