São Paulo, May 18, 2026 — Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, has reached the milestone of 6 million SME customers, consolidating its position as the financial institution with the largest number of registered corporate tax IDs (CNPJs) in Brazil.
This growth is accompanied by a new communication phase for Nu Empresas, which reinforces the reliability of its SME portfolio among potential customers. “Our long-term commitment to the customer is for them to have a reliable experience, within the security standards they need to manage their business, whether to organize their financial routine, manage cash flow, or access credit responsibly,” says Maximiliano Damian, General Director of Nu Empresas.
The executive further explains that “our products are developed and launched to facilitate management for our customers, who are also focused on serving their own consumers in the best possible way.”
Campaign with Lázaro Ramos
Complementing the strategy, Nubank launched the campaign “Lázaro e seus ramos” (Lázaro and his branches), starring Lázaro Ramos. In the narrative, the actor and entrepreneur plays a character involved in various businesses, representing the diversity and complexity of the SME journey in Brazil and how Nu Empresas has solutions for different types of businesses.
The campaign will unfold throughout the year, showing how the financial solutions fit into companies’ daily routines. To expand its reach, Nu Empresas will also feature influencers from various segments, in addition to partnerships with wide-reaching media outlets such as GloboNews.
