Nubank receives new recognition of customer service excellence by Reclame Aqui

The RA1000 Seal is the highest level of recognition on the platform; it is granted when, in over 90% of cases, customers are satisfied with the resolution, among other criteria


São Paulo, August 4, 2023 – Nubank has just received the RA1000 Seal, which recognizes the highest level of customer service excellence on Reclame Aqui, an online platform for customer complaints. According to the website, for a company to qualify for the seal, it must meet 5 criteria:

  • Number of reviews equal to or greater than 50 
  • Response rate equal to or greater than 90% 
  • Resolution rate equal to or greater than 90% 
  • Average ratings (given by consumers) equal to or greater than 7 
  • New Business Index (Would do business with the company again?) equal to or greater than 70%

“Our focus has always been on delivering the best products and customer service. That’s why we are already among the financial institutions with the lowest complaint rates in the country. Now, we are even prouder to receive recognition for solving problems with quality and efficiency when they occur,” says Cristina Junqueira, co-founder.

Nubank is also a six-time winner of the Reclame Aqui Award, determined by popular vote. In 2022, the date of the last ranking, it was awarded in the categories of “Digital Banks and Cards” and “Credit Cards.” In the same year, NuInvest won the award in the “Digital Investment Platform” category for the first time.

Growth with quality

Nubank has become the fourth-largest financial institution in Brazil in number of customers at the end of the second quarter of 2023. The data comes from the Central Bank, which also ranks the company among the top three financial institutions in the country with the lowest complaint rates. Nu is the only one to have the RA1000 seal among the five largest.

In July, Nubank reached 80 million customers in Brazil and 85 million in Latin America, including its operations in Mexico and Colombia, where it has also been recognized for its excellence in customer service.
