Nubank now accepts new business customers that don’t have a personal account

With the new rule, the company is now available to 92% of Brazilian businesses

Sao Paulo, October 24, 2022 – Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms, announces this Monday (24) another evolution for Brazilian entrepreneurs: the possibility of opening a business account even for those who don’t have a personal account (NuConta) at the Company. The new flux – made up of only a few steps and that can be accessed on this page with the business CNPJ (national registration number) – aims to improve the user experience and expand the product offer for a larger base of small and medium entrepreneurs. 

With this novelty, the PJ (business) account is now available to more than 92% of Brazilian businesses. In the last three years alone, when it started to offer products aimed at entrepreneurs, Nubank has reached a 150% growth in its PJ customer base, with more than 2 million business account holders at the end of the second quarter of 2022.

Nubank’s PJ account is available for businesses with one or more partners, that are either MEI, EI, or LTDA, as long as there is only one administering partner and that this person is responsible for opening the account. More information at  https://nubank.com.br/conta-pj/.
