With Nubank, Anitta promotes Modo Rua and cell phone insurance at Carnaval

The global brand ambassador takes the message of a more financially secure party to her Ensaios and Blocos throughout the country, with Modo Rua and Nubank Celular Seguro

São Paulo, February 9, 2023 – With a lot of public enthusiasm, the Carnaval celebrations in 2023 promise to be the biggest of the decade. But the chances of financial issues increase as the party gets more intense – whether in the street or wherever else Brazilians go to enjoy the holiday. In the last major Carnaval in the country before the pandemic, in 2020, more than 60% of the crimes recorded in São Paulo were theft or cell phone robberies, according to the Military Police. So it is important that people stay alert.

To help customers enjoy this Carnaval with more financial security, Anitta, Nubank’s global brand ambassador, joined the company in this great celebration for a campaign under the motto “Your Carnival with more Alalaô (woohoo) and less oh no“, to raise awareness about the protection measures Nu offers during the festivities, such as Modo Rua, a tool that sets limits for transactions outside the house, Nubank Celular Seguro, cell phone insurance that includes protection even against water damage, and SOS Nu, a hub with tips to prevent scams and how to act in case of theft.

“This is the first time that Nubank holds a campaign in Carnaval, and we chose Anitta’s Ensaios and Blocos to further promote our security mechanisms so that our more than 70 million customers in Brazil don’t need to worry about pausing the party for any financial trouble that might happen”, comments Juliana Roschel, Nubank’s marketing director.

In more than seven cities all over Brazil, the company is present at Anitta’s Carnaval on stages, but also with activations during the events. Considered one of the greatest artists of today, Anitta continues with her Carnaval building one of the best authorial projects in Brazil since 2016.
