Nubank is recognized as the most admired company in the field of Product in Brazil

The company ranks first, according to a study conducted by PM3, a renowned school in Digital Products and Business in Brazil, in partnership with Bain & Company

São Paulo, November 10, 2023 – Nubank, one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms in the world, was recognized as the most admired company within the field of Products in Brazil, as stated in the Market Overview for Product 2023-2024 study, conducted by PM3, one of Brazil’s leading schools in Digital Products and Business, in collaboration with Bain & Company, a global strategic consulting firm.

The survey, comprising 61 completely anonymous questions, investigates the opinions of Brazil’s leading Product groups and communities. In addition to Product Managers and Product Owners, other professionals such as Business Analysts, CPOs, VPs, UX professionals, Agile Coaches, and Developers also participated. Nubank leads the list, with 59% of mentions. iFood and Google follow closely, with 30% and 25% of responses, respectively.

Efficient expansion of Products 

The survey results highlight Nubank’s growth in its operations by developing innovative and user-friendly products that support customers in their daily lives.

In addition to offering an increasingly diverse portfolio for all phases of customers’ financial lives in Brazil, Nu has been able to replicate the success of its first market in Mexico and Colombia. Over the past 10 years, launches in Brazil have provided insights and results that have allowed for even more quick and efficient implementation in other countries where Nu operates.

One example is the evolution of the digital account in Mexico, named Cuenta Nu. The product was launched this year based on the experience of the Brazilian account. The local team studied and implemented the necessary adaptations to comply with local regulations and market conditions. As a result, the Mexican audience quickly gained access to Cajitas – a feature that allows Nu Mexico customers to earn interest while maintaining access to their money 24/7. 

Another important element for the consistent quality of Nu’s products is hiring top-level talent. These factors, combined with the company’s customer-centered culture, have led to the announcement of significant products in the past year, such as the launch of the first dividend-paying ETF in the Brazilian market, in partnership with B3, a new channel for fraud and theft alerts, and a protection pack.


This is the fourth year PM3 has provided this free material for the country’s entire Product and Technology community. This edition also involved Bain & Company to map the Product job market in Brazil. The report had over 2,000 respondents, resulting in an authentic sector overview. The sample reflects the views of different product roles in different companies and different profiles of professional experience, including junior, mid-level, senior, specialists, and managers. The results present indicators related to demographic profile, education, industry involvement, compensation, and factors influencing job satisfaction, comparing these indicators’ evolution with the previous edition’s results.
